Today is the shortest day of the year here in Iceland. And how long is that? We have sunrise at 11.23am and sunset at 3.29pm. That really means that we have what we could call full daylight for approximately four hours and then dusk of course in the morning and in the afternoon so enough light to see the interesting sites for five hours.
The days will now be getting longer. Already tomorrow the day will be longer by one minute, the day after by another minute and so on. We will see some difference at the end of January. I promise. The days will be getting longer.
